Wilmington, NC — August 1, 2023 – Vantaca, the HOA and broader community association industry’s leader in community management performance software, announced the appointment of Jeff Beard as the Vice President of Engineering on the executive leadership team. The addition of Beard to Vantaca builds upon the recently expanded executive team.
Reporting directly to the CEO, Beard will be responsible for leading Vantaca's engineering organization and technical architecture, playing a pivotal role in implementing and executing hiring plans that enable the company’s technical teams to scale. "His extensive experience in software engineering, technical acumen, and leadership qualities are exceptional and align perfectly with our vision for Vantaca’s growth and continued success."
Beard brings with him a distinguished career spanning over two decades in software development, including leadership roles at SchoolPass and CentralSquare Technologies. He is well-regarded for his strategic planning and execution skills, having led several transformational initiatives, from improving development processes to achieving significant cost reductions and elevating security standards. Beard's leadership has been characterized by a strong focus on team building, stakeholder engagement, and continuous process improvement.
In his role at Vantaca, Beard will drive strategic technical initiatives, lead a talented group of engineers, develop staffing strategies for the engineering organization, and foster a culture of excellence and ingenuity. His responsibilities also include ensuring the scalability and reliability of Vantaca’s platform, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and maintaining top-tier data and service security.
